Yes. This is a fully legal Australian marriage conducted by an authorised marriage celebrant. All legal paperwork is prepared, guided and lodged for you. Kerri walks you through each step so nothing feels confusing or overwhelming. To proceed with a legal marriage on 2 June 2026, your Notice of Intended Marriage must be lodged with Kerri by 2 May 2026. After this date, the experience may still be booked as a commitment ceremony or vow renewal. The setting, the styling, the photography and the experience remain exactly the same. The only difference is the legal component.

No. Two legal witnesses are included if required. If you’re bringing guests over 18, they’re welcome to act as your witnesses instead. Either way, it’s taken care of.

Not at all. Many couples visit Moreton Island just for the day. You simply arrange your ferry or boat transfer to Tangalooma Island Resort and arrive in time for your ceremony. If you’d like to extend your stay and turn it into a minimoon, you absolutely can, but it isn’t required.

Island weather can shift, and we’re prepared for that. Clear umbrellas or a gazebo are supplied for light rain. If conditions are unsafe, we will work with you to implement a suitable alternative plan. Your safety and experience always come first.

Yes. This experience is designed for the two of you, plus up to four additional guests. It remains intimate, while still allowing space for the people who matter most.

Absolutely. Kerri will work directly with you to create a ceremony that reflects your relationship and your values. Personal vows are warmly encouraged, and guidance is available if you would like support shaping them.

After your marriage is registered, Kerri will apply for and cover the cost of your official marriage certificate through Births, Deaths and Marriages on your behalf. One less thing for you to think about.

Each one-hour allocation is reserved exclusively for one couple. Your ceremony is not shared. The moment is yours alone. Only six ceremony times are released for this date.
