This is exactly what Joel and Sophia's Moreton Island elopement was. The Absolute beach wedding of their dreams!
With Reeders Point at Kooringal as their chosen spot, they were able to capture the stunning sunset hues that the island is so famous for.
Joel and Sophia are the epitome of laid-back charm, and their absolute adoration and love for each other is truly infectious. It's no wonder that they chose to elope to Moreton Island – it's a place that is special to them in so many ways.
They wanted a casual, relaxed and stress-free day, and that's exactly what they got. They spent the entire day with their family, enjoying what the island has to offer, prior to heading inside to get ready for their ceremony.
With the sun still shining as they head off to the beach for their sunset wedding ceremony, the sand soft under their feet, and the waves crashing gently on the shore, it was an incredibly romantic and intimate moment for the two of them.
Afterwards, as the light began to fade, they ventured out onto the sand dunes for a few more snaps before heading off into the sunset – hand in hand, as husband and wife and afterwards, celebrated with their nearest and dearest at The Gutter Bar.
It was an absolutely perfect day, from start to finish, and they were able to get married with their dream of an intimate wedding surrounded by only their closest family.
